Julia Rosa Ferreira

Julia has a degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), a postgraduate degree in the Environment from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Engineering Research, at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE /UFRJ) and is a master’s student in Political Science at the Institute of Social and Political Studies at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Iesp -UERJ). She worked as an assistant researcher on the Socioenvironmental Platform of the BRICS Policy Center, where she was dedicated to the study of global environmental governance and international climate negotiations. Between 2017 and 2022, she worked as a Project Analyst at the Brazilian Institute for Consumer Protection (Idec), focusing on project management and fundraising. While at Idec, she also coordinated several initiatives of sustainable consumption, including the international campaign Green Action Week and market research about greenwashing.
