Institutional Communications Analyst

Matheus has a degree in Social Communications – Journalism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and is currently studying for a master’s degree in Information Science at the same institution, where he is researching data activism. He has a postgraduate degree in Diplomacy and International Relations and experience in the research, analysis and communication of data in policy projects, climate change, public transparency, citizen science, civic innovation and urban mobility. He was a founding member of the Citizen Innovation Laboratory at UFRJ, where he was a Project Manager for almost five years, and he has also worked at ITDP Brasil, Transparência Brasil, the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) and in political campaigns. He is currently an Impact Officer at Global Shapers Rio. At iCS, Matheus is an institutional communications analyst.
