Geysa has a degree in Library Science from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Unirio) and an MBA in Business Management from the Veiga de Almeida University (UVA). Her path in the third sector began in 2010, when she decided to direct her career towards social and positive impact causes. She has accumulated extensive experience in the administrative and financial area of social organizations, and has specialized in philanthropy management and the management of funding with incentives. She is currently studying for an MBA in Social Responsibility and the Third Sector at the Laboratory of Social Responsibility and Sustainability (Lares ) of the Institute of Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
