Specialist in Project Evaluation

Mariana is a project specialist in and social communicator. She began her career in 2004, in the area of culture, where she carried out multiple projects on the Rio Grande do Norte-Rio de Janeiro circuit, including shows, art exhibitions, cinema screenings, theater festivals and hospital humanization actions through art, in partnership with artistic groups and private companies. For this work, she received three national awards, from the Banco do Brasil (2006), Shell (2013) and Questão de Crítica (2014). In 2015, she began work in the third sector, as a journalist and researcher at the Center for Human Rights of the Diocese of Nova Iguaçu (CDDHNI), as a journalist at the Igarapé Institute, as a coordinator of the socioenvironmental portfolio at Viva Rio, a project and community communication manager at Rede Asta, a project coordinator at the Institute for the Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon (Idesam) and a consultant for projects with incentives at the Mundo Novo Institute and the Institute for Socioenvironmental Projects (Iprosa). During this period, she was also a reviewer of projects with incentives by the Ministry of Culture (MinC). She has technical training in Dramatic Arts from the University of the City of Rio de Janeiro (UniverCidade), a degree in Social Communication with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Potiguar University (UnP), an MBA in Project Management from the Centro Universitário IBMR and is currently studying for an MBA in High Impact ESG at the Business Behavior Institute (BBI).
