Helena holds a degree in Economics in PUC-Rio, and she was a member of the Fiscal Council of Lojas Renner S.A. and Lojas Renner Institute since 2005 and 2008, respectively. She participes as a member of the Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP), which seeks to integrate women into the labor market through investment in work and income generation projects. She was Operations Director of Grupo Pão de Açúcar and also responsible for supply, logistics and after sales (SAC) of Ponto Frio, Extra and Casas Bahia sites from July 2008 to March 2012.
