Sergio Gusmão Suchodolski

Sergio is a Senior Fellow at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). He was President of Banco Desenvolve SP and also of the Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais S/A – BDMG and of the Brazilian Development Association (ABDE). Additionally, he was Vice President of the Latin American Association of Financial Institutions for Development (ALIDE).

He has a bachelor’s degree in Law from USP, a master’s degree in Law from Harvard Law School and in International Trade and Economics from Sciences Po – Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris.

He was previously General Director for Strategy and Partnerships at the New Development Bank, the BRICS Bank in Shanghai, China. He also worked as Chief of Staff of the President of BNDES and was Vice President of Corporate Development at Arlon Capital Partners in New York. Sergio is also a Member of the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Amazon Foundation (FAS).
