Shaila is the CEO of SHC Auditoria e Consultoria, which is a company that she created with the purpose of helping business owners use accounting as a management tool. She has been working in the accounting area for over 23 years, of which 18 years have been focused on internal and external audit, accounting consulting and compliance in various segments. She was a member of the Statutory Audit Committee for 2 years. She is an alumna of Conselheira 101, which a program that has the objective of expanding the knowledge of black leaders on topics related to the role of directors, responsibilities, training and challenges, as well as encouraging the networking of participants with the governance community.
