Alice de Moraes Amorim Vogas is a specialist on climate policy. She is a lawyer with a degree in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and a master’s degree in the Political Economy of Late Development from the London School of Economics (LSE). She began her career in the corporate world as a lawyer at the Icatu Group and has a decade of experience in the field of international and sustainable development, with involvement in civil society, academia and philanthropy. Alice was superintendent of the Associação Saúde Criança Responder, a member of GiP – Gestão de Interesse Público, Pesquisa e Consultoria, and coordinator of the Policy and Engagement Program of iCS. As a Humboldt Chancellor Fellow, she was based in the cabinet of deputy Lisa Badum (the Green Party) in the Bundestag (German Parliament) and was also a Senior Lead at the international network of philanthropy WINGS, where she coordinated the global movement #PhilanthropyForClimate.
