Kamyla Borges Cunha

Specialist in Land Use and Sustainable Agriculture

Kamyla has a degree in law from the Faculty of Law at USP, a master’s degree and a PHD in the planning of energy systems from the Unicamp Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on the role of Brazil in international negotiations regarding global climate change. She worked for over 10 years at the Institute for Energy and the Environment, coordinating the electric energy portfolio. She was also a lecturer in chemical engineering and environmental sciences at UNIFESP/Diadema. She currently works at iCS, initially as the coordinator of the Kigali Project, whose focus is to promote the increase of energy efficiency with the transition to refrigerant gases with a lower global warming potential in the air conditioning sector in Brazil, and now as Coordinator of Food Systems.
