Rachel Vita

Specialist in Institutional Communication

Rachel Vita has a degree in Social Communication, with a specialization in Journalism fromFACHA. She has worked in the main newsrooms of Brazilian newspapers and was responsible for the curation of event content, especially in the areas of sustainability and
innovation. Among her work experiences, she was responsible for the economics and political editorials of the newspaper O DIA; she was assistant editor of the websites of the O Globo and Extra newspapers; she has been curator of events with more than 300 national and international speakers, in Bahia; and she was a consultant in the creation of the Climate Change Panel of Salvador. She won the Esso awards for Journalism, in the southeast category; Child Friendly Journalist, of ANDI; and was a finalist in the HSBC award for the Press and Sustainability. She specialized in Economics for Journalists at the Institute of Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), is concluding an MBA in Marketing and Branding and participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). She enjoys storytelling and, throughout her career, has sought to connect people with their experiences, interests, knowledge and backgrounds, through different platforms of content and communication. She believes in working in a network in order to maximise impacts and achievements.
