Climate Policy, Institutions and Law Manager
Walter has over 15 years of experience in climate policy, with a focus on subnational policies. He was previously Director of Political Coordination and Dialogue at the Talanoa Institute, coordinator of Climate and Cities at WRI Brasil and Superintendent of the Green Economy of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Walter has a degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from the Tufts University in Boston. He currently is Climate Policy, Institutions and Law Manager at the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) that seeks to strengthen actions of mitigation and climate adaptation in the states and municipalities.
